    We asked to hear about your experiences with this pilot project. Here is a summary of what we heard from you:

    • 26% of respondents had used the designated spaces for responsible alcohol consumption. The majority of respondents were other park users.
    • 81% of respondents said they would like to see a similar pilot project return.
    • 73% of respondents thought the 12 pm – 9 pm time frame worked okay or very well.
    • 87% of respondents who were in the parks during the pilot project saw people responsibly enjoying the outdoor space.
    • One respondent reported issues with noise and inappropriate behaviour in the designated areas.

    Next Steps

    We will give this feedback to City Council so they can make informed decisions if they consider projects like this in the future.
